PREGNANCY HORMONES?! I'm so happy for you!! Congraaatulations! I'm sure you're completely thrilled and relieved, huh?

Like Nina told you, the store is just not the same. I'm out of there in three-ish months. Tonight Tina said, "the parting of the dynamic duo!" Tear. Nina will be all alone.

Anyway. I hope everything else is going well, including the developing mini-christine! Tehe.

I hope at least a tiny portion of this was coherant. I'm a little sleep deprived at the moment...

Oh yeah! I can't believe tina or uriah didn't say anything. i'm due july 26th. we're so excited, but boy it's exhausting growing another human!!

feel bad for you girls.....that store is just destined to close eventually. tina just isn't a good enough manager to get sales up and the chain has no desire to move the store. where are you off to in 3 months?

well... i'm off to a lot of places, i suppose.

i graduate june 9th, i'm going to Bolivia for a week starting june 11th, and then i'm moving to Pittsburgh on june 23 to start school (art institute of pittsburgh) on july 10. phew. oh yeah...i wanted to ask you if you could still write up that list of basic graphic design supplies so i can take advantage of my discount. i'm outta there at the end of may...fo' sho'.

congrats again on the baby!! do you know if it's a boy or a girl yet, or are you going to make it a surprise?

Yeah I am so thrilled it's you!!! I miss you guys, but I am loving not being at DB. Yeah, uploaded 3...i love my new work but still feel it's not good enough.....I just feel like I need a kick in the ass. know what i mean? Love your gallery!! i've never really seen a lot of your work. always thought you'd be great for children book illustration!

Uriah is leaving us on Friday. :C !! And so, everyone who was there when Melissa and I first started is gone, besides Tina! Alas alack .. but I think you've all moved onto bigger and way better things, so that's great.

I was watching your website for ages too, it's in my favorites list- I absolutely LOVE your pet portraits. I can't remember if I emailed you or not, I know I started to one day. Their faces have so much expression.
And thank you, I love that you think that! I'd love to do a children's book oneday-someday.

yeah I know, I'll miss uriah, he will never stay in contact with anyone, it's just his way. did you graduate yet or is it this year? are you looking at art schools? you can go for illustration which would totally guide you in the direction of childrens books. there's even a society that's specifically for childrens book writers and illustrators, it's like $25-$35 a year to join and they send you a catalog of all publishers and childrens magazines etc., plus keep you up to date on the market and editors, etc. it's worth it when you are ready to join.

thanks for the compliments on my pet portraits. i love doing them but at the same time hate it. it get's repetitive. for a while i swear, every one I got was a black dog?#@! it's nice though when I deliver them and the owners are always so excited they cry. i just got a call last week from one's whose dog passed away and they were so glad they had one done and said it made dealing with the loss easier. totally made me cry! and all these pregnancy (by the way did uriah tell you i was pregnant?) hormones just make me even more emotional. although it's really sparked some great new works. i have drawings started for a series of pregnant nudes. i am excited to finish the drawings so i can start painting.

anywho wordy wordy me, i am pooped i need to go to bed!!! Ciao!

!!! You're pregnant, congratulations!! No one told me! For how long, when are you due? Congrats congrats

But yesss, I am a senior this year and I'm sort of looking at schools. I'm bad, I should be way more decided at this point about where I'll be next year, but I'm really hovering inbetween things. I've ruled out ART-schools entirely, since I think I want to study some other things too, but I will probably major in art. I've applied to some universities and also HACC, which I keep returning to. III don't know. I want to try the whole college thing, but I'm so unsure that I end up thinking I should just go to HACC for a little while .... but then again, everyone's unsure, so I am keeping doors open.

BLAHBLAHBLAH!

I'd be kind of interested in the children's book society you wrote about.. at least to keep the name around until I'm really into joining. Thanks so much!
